I have two tortoises who quite happily while away their lives either sleeping or eating but not really doing a great deal very quickly. Tortoise IT is a (non registered, non trading name) name which I have decided to use for my site and maybe eventually my business.

I shall say right away that it’s not because I share the lazy lifestyle of a tortoise (I wish I had that sort of time!) and work slowly… it’s more an interesting name (not a hugely original one at that!) that I came up with to use as a brand. Eventually I plan to change the theme on this site to suit my new online persona.

Whilst on honeymoon around the St Tropez area in France I was out driving one day and we stumbled across a tortoise sanctuary with a name that even an Englishman can understand… Village Des Tortue. My first visit was really nice indeed and I recommend it as a place to stop if you are ever near Gonfaron. I have now been twice (much to my wifes annoyance) and truly appreciate the work they do.
