Wordcamp EU 2019 – (Pre) First Day!

I’ve just arrived at WordCamp EU in Berlin for the first day of the festivities. It’s technically contributor day (of which I am not) and so I’m just here to look around and get the lay of the land a bit. The venue is overflowing with so much WP Merch attached to the largest gathering of stereotypically and fundamentally antisocial of people but it’s a real gathering of minds (and me). We’re perched in the lobby area where there are as many laptops as people and it’s hitting me that all of the names I’m used to seeing online are likely to be in this room. Very exciting stuff.

Myself and Andrew Palmer are here to find out what’s going on but also to network with some of these guys and gals of the industry and find out about their businesses and how we can get involved. I’ll try and post a bit more whilst here. It’s quite inspirational really as i’ve decided to pick up a plugin I started developing the best part of a year ago and try and get something done whilst I’m sitting around networking!
